CompuCal Calibration Solutions is an Engineering based software development company. Building on our 30 years of engineering experience in the fields of Electrical, Mechanical and Instrumentation, we have set-up a software company to develop regulatory compliant software solutions for the Pharmaceutical sector. The company has extensive knowledge in the areas of FDA/EPA requirements, cGamp operation environment and computer system validation.

We have received the ISO 9001/2000 accreditation for “the development, installation and support of our software applications for regulated industries” Our main area of specialty is in the provision of Calibration Management Software, configured to integrate into other systems and thereby offering a complete solution for our clients. CompuCal 6 is a web based application which allows us to supply solutions that can be provided as a local server solution (Intranet) or as a hosted solution (Internet).

CompuCal is a compliant calibration software solution which provides efficiencies for our customers by enabling them to increase their calibration frequencies, give visibility to auditors of all activities associated with calibrations and deviation handling – all of which are handled in a secure compliant manner – this will enable reduced FDA compliance issues from missed calibrations, improper use of procedures, local interpretation of part 11 or inadequate software validation. Driven by the FDA’s attention to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) CompuCal can offer clients cost effective global compliant calibration management when coupled with advances in information technology. CompuCal enforces consistent, traceable calibration best practices throughout our customer’s sites and can extend to our customers ‘contracting’ companies.
CompuCal has shown reductions in client’s calibration budget of 50% saving annually – this represented a saving of €90,000 annually for one client and gave a return on investment for this client within 12 months…. CompuCal’s web enabled software can be delivered on-line allowing access to critical information anytime, anyplace, by anyone with secure access to the software. As manufacturing plants are outsourcing calibration services – this allows the service companies to reduce the cost of maintenance staff because they do not have to go to the office – all scheduled tasks are available on line and all work information is loaded automatically to the CompuCal database and immediately available for their client or supervisor to view.
CompuCal’s knowledge and commitment to deliver FDA compliant calibration solutions have enabled our customers to leverage our vendor FAT documentation to reduce validation costs and in one site have seen a reduction of over 80% of the client’s on site validation activities. The delivery of these regulated customers installations covered 3 sites and followed the guidelines of GAMP5 enabling our client to leverage fully our internal validation and deliver significant cost savings for their projects. CompuCal expertise in migration securely our clients data from existing systems is coupled with our expertise to validate the full migration process.
